Just about every member of our family has a birthday in March... Ava, Kyle and my sister Leah (who have to share the exact same birthday for the rest of their lives, oh well), my Grandma...
our anniversary is in March....
anyway, we've been really busy.
My new job at the hospital is great. I love it. They are giving me tons of hours, it helps that one of the techs is out on maternity leave right now. They are working me on all kinds of shifts too, first shift, second shift, mid-shift (never knew that existed before, haha) and weekends. It's hard work and I'm learning how to deal with the in-patients and ER patients again, I got spoiled at the out-patient clinic. But overall, it's really fun and I'm learning a LOT!! Never a dull moment at a hospital, that's for sure. I've been super impressed with the techs as well and their obvious concern for patient care and team spirit. It's a good feeling to be a part of this kind of work environment. So, I am dropping the other job very soon. It's just too much stress, not worth it at all.
We celebrated our 2nd anniversary very low-key this year. We initially had plans but we had so much going on and things kept coming up that we ended up staying home and taking care of various issues instead of going away somewhere. So we are planning a trip in May to make up for it. We still had a nice four day weekend together and did get out for a nice dinner one night. It really doesn't seem like 2 years already though, wow...
This past Saturday we got to enjoy a visit from Kyle's parents and Chad and Courtney. Kyle and his Dad put up some crown molding in our dining room and it looks awesome! It makes the whole room look different! I was impressed, and they got it done fast too. While the guys did that, the ladies went and watched one of Chad's soccer games. It was a little hot, but a perfect day to play soccer. Afterwards, we had our first cook-out of the year!! A fun day all around!
We are enjoying the warm weather very much!! It was a long winter, way too long. Hope it stays this way!
